I don't like my domain name, can I change it?

If you registered, for example, domain1.com and you would rather have domain-one.net, then you must register the new name.  This is an additional cost.

This means you will own both names. Once the original name is ready to expire, simply choose to not renew the registration (just don't pay for it).
