Advanced DNS Editor

The first difference between Simple and Advanced DNS Zone Editors is that the latter allows to completely reset your DNS records to default values. This can be useful if you, for example, have modified your DNS records and the domain name is no longer working properly.


In order to reset the DNS Zone records to default values click on More and Reset Zone File button.

Using Advanced DNS Zone Editor you can add / edit these types of DNS records:

  • A Record – Maps name to IP address.
  • AAAA Record – Maps name to IPv6 address.
  • CNAME Record – Maps an alias name to a domain name.
  • SRV Record – Maps one domain to another using a specific destination port.
  • TXT Record – Used to hold text information. Commonly used for SPF records and domain name authentication with other services.


Advanced DNS Zone Editor
also allows specifying TTL (time to live) value. This value specifies how long DNS records will be cached. Default TTL value is 14400.

For example, if you decided to add a new TXT Record, you will have to enter the fallowing details and press Add Record button.

Advanced DNS Zone Editor
also allows to edit already existing DNS Zone records. In order to edit your desired record, click on Edit button and you will be prompted with edit menu.
