How to add Discount Rules
Welcome to HBJamaica, tutorial session Part 8 on how to add Discount Rules to your web store.
After logging into your admin panel, select Products. Then select add a product. This will take you to the product details area. Next select Discount Rules in the Product Menu tab.
Here you will enter the minimum and maximum quantity of this product that a customer must purchase to take advantage of this discount rule. Then you select the kind of discount you want to give customers who purchase the quantity of products you specified. There are few options to choose from:
- Select Price discount to offer customers a cash amount off each individual order’s cost. Enter the amount in the field that displays.
- Select Percentage discount to offer customers a percentage off each individual order’s cost. Enter the percentage discount value in the field that displays.
- Select fixed amount to specify a specific cost that customers pay for each individual item. Enter the cost of the product in the field that displays.
If you want to add another discount rule, click the icon. To remove a discount rule, click its icon.
CLICK SAVE&EXIT and then proceed to the next video on how to add Google Web store Optimizer to your product.
