Setting up mail on iPhone (iOS 10)

Step 1 - Go to Settings > Mail

Open Settings on your iPhone and tap Mail.

Open settings and tap Mail


Step 2 - Tap Accounts

Tap Accounts.

Tap Accounts at the top of the screen


Step 3 - Tap Add account

Tap Add account.

Click Add account


Step 4 - Tap Other

Select Other as account type.

Tap Other


Step 5 - Tap Add Mail Account

Tap Add Mail Account.

Click Add Mail account


Step 6 - Enter your account details

Enter the account details for the email you want to add:

  • Name: this will be visible as the sender.
  • Email: the address you want to add. [mail@one-example.com].  This MUST be an email created in the CPANEL.
  • Password: you use it to log in to Webmail.
  • Description: a name for the account on your device.

Tap Next to continue.

Enter your name, email and password


Step 7 - Select IMAP

Tap IMAP as the account type.

Select IMAP


Step 8 - Enter your server settings

Enter the following settings:

Incoming server:

  • Host name: server.hbwebhost.com
  • User name: your email account  [mail@one-example.com]
  • Password: the one you use for Webmail

Outgoing server:

  • Host name: server.hbwebhost.com
  • User name: your email account [mail@one-example.com]
  • Password: the one you use for Webmail

Tap Next to continue.

Enter settings for the incoming and outgoing server


Step 9 - Save the account

Disable syncing of Notes, if this is enabled. Tap Save.

Tap Save to  save the account


Step 10 - Tap the account you added

Tap the account you just added. You can recognize it by the description.

Click the account that you just added


Step 11 - Tap your account again

Tap your account again to open settings.  ENSUE MAIL is selected.  Do not select NOTES.

Step 12 - Tap Advanced

Tap Advanced, at the bottom of your screen.

Click Advanced at the bottom of your screen



Step 13 - Enter IMAP INCOMING Port and Select SSL

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and enter 993 and select SSL

 




 

Step 14 - Enter IMAP OUTGOING Port and Select SSL

11. In order to set up additional settings for outgoing server, return to the previous menu and then go to Outgoing Mail Server.  CLICK ON SMTP and then by pressing on the hostname of the server. From the list of servers, select Primary Server:







For Outgoing Server (SMTP), select port 465 (with SSL)




 



Step 15 - Done!

Your account is now set up correctly.


Once the settings are verified, your account will be active and ready to use. To test your new email account, go to Mail and try sending and receiving emails.


That's it!


All done! your emails will now be synced
